Images can be always on top, borderless or full screen. It has plenty of options while still being light and fast with the usual standard features and a few useful extras.įeatures include image rotation, flip vertical, flip horizontal, built-in screen shot function, picture in picture mode, open a file with an external app, set image as desktop background, print image or export to PDF. And want to point out that I have an SSD and a somewhat good CPU (Intel i5 10th gen), so it's not like my pc is just slow to open files. Is there like a hidden gem out there that I've missed or haven't tried? I used to use Picasa back in the day, and I haven't found anything close to it. Still I feel like I need something fresh, possibly simpler. I stuck with ImageGlass because it let me remove unnecessary buttons like share, rotate and stuff, it was the fastest in opening the files and had the simplest UI. I have tried many of the 'popular' image viewers like Irfan, FastStone, ImageGlass, Photos (the one that comes with Windows) and honestly I am being picky about it, since all of them have something that I don't like and I go back and forth between them.įastStone had too much BS and even after customizing it, it was a little slow and couldn't remove it all.
